Ratty Flag
Showcase of American flags displayed in violation of
the United States Flag Code |
|
At this time, this is a class project for Florida State University COP 4710, Summer 2008. Eventually, this site will become a showcase for improperly displayed American flags. This project will, however, grow as time goes on. I will have users, moderators, meta-moderation, and search. Down the road I plan to have the ability to search based on proximity to a location, for instance "within 50 miles of 32301." Basically, I grew tired and frustrated at the number of ratty ass flags being flown all over the place: at banks, on police cars, at restaurants, you name it. I even made a number of chastising phone calls. I registered this domain several years ago but never got around to developing the site. There will be a FAQ online sometime after the project is submitted and as the site grows. I will "freeze" development once the project is submitted for a grade and take a hiatus of a few weeks before I begin working on it again. |
